Statue of Stamford Raffles were made to the remembrance to his contribution to Singapore.
All the public holidays we have is a remembrance to something great, something that made an impact.
Nearly anything can be a memorial, remembrance, as long as we can relate them.
For example, a short note on a post-stick can remind us about the up coming task he have to do.
A alarm clock that rang in the morning wakes us up.
Yes, reminded by a post-stick and the alarm clock is totally different from the remembrance of great people like Staford Raffles.
Post-stick is a reminds you of
what is it to come and
what are you suppose to dowhile Sir Staford Raffles statue, like what has mention earlier, is just to credit what he has done for Singapore.
The Bread and the Wine is something that has fulfill both of this aspects, who to remember and thank for what we have now, as well as what is to be done.
let's just stop here for now(didn't intend to come to here)
The thought I have is that,
if we can find something to relate to something that can remind us about what that is to be done and who are we doing it do, wouldn't it be great?
For example, to continue God's ministry on earth, but at the same time, knowing that you are doing it for Him, not for His people. To continue to do it
until the day He comes back.
How is it something in the natural gives allows us to be reminded that and moreover to be able to motivate us to move forward?
I found one, and it's something to do with the solar system, the day and night.
start relating, it benefits alot.
